WonderCon in Anaheim, March 16-18, 2012

ok! i just purchased my ticket for saturday. i am able and willing to help watch the table whenever needed!

Thank you, Lord Scios! Saturday I will need help, for sure. My most urgent needs, however, are for Friday, and for Sunday, including break-down.

Here is some information from WonderCon that we should all be aware of:


ALL EXHIBITORS AND TABLETOPS
Friday, March 16, 2012 7:30 AM - 11:15 AM


All exhibits must be fully built by Friday, March 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM. All exhibit material must be
removed from the aisles at this time, but you may remain in your booth space setting out product
until 11:45 AM.
However, the safety of our WonderCon attendees is our main concern. Should it become necessary
to open the convention early due to crowd control issues we may be forced to do so at anytime
between 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM. This has never happened before at WonderCon. However, like a
popular concert, sometimes it is necessary to make adjustments for the safety of the attendees.

I will be there early Friday morning for setup, however, I can only stay on Friday until 1pm. After that, I will need other TDE members to takeover table duties. We will not be holding a raffle or any other kind of charity activity at this convention, because of our short notice of being off of the waiting list. However, I will have enough of a display that photo-ops will be frequent.

I will be there all day on Saturday. Sunday, I can be there in the morning, but again can only stay until 1pm. I will need a TDE member to take down the table props and Coruscant Temple banner. Lord Mortis or Royal Guard, I would like to entrust one of you with that duty, so that I can retrieve those items from you.

Count me in all 3 days: Royal Guard TDE-061 -- All three days, periodic table duty due to Saber Guild commitments

Sadly i cannot attend do to personal matters. Never the less i shall be their in holo form . Good luck fellow TDE members and Good luck Saber Guild MTFBWY,and have fun.

Okay, I'll be there all three days, but I've got table duty at two other tables too. On the plus side, the convention map has all the fan booths right together in a row, tables F17-F21, so bouncing between the tables will be a breeze. From right to left, it's Rebel Legion, TDE, Twin Suns, Mando Mercs, and Saber Guild. Of those, I'm a member in all but the Rebel Legion, so getting help to watch stuff shouldn't be an issue at all.

I'll definitely be able to put some time in on each day, though, at least an hour, maybe two. Even if I'm at another table, I'd gladly pop over to help out. I'm sure some Mercs can be "hired" to guard the table too, if need be =p

Hiring the Mercs... can I put it on my Brutal tab?

Mercs don't mind keeping an eye on tables lol Just means more seats to rest weary troopers and more places for them to put there helmets

But don't hesitate to ask any Merc if you need to hurry to do something. We Mercs love having a seat available when our feet are screaming bloody murder and our helmets are making the tops of our heads hurt.

holy moly! I am actually getting a tax refund this year, (as opposed to having to pay extra as per usual) so as long as the direct deposit clears in time i will be attending Saturday AND Sunday for wondercon.

I thought I was going to be here for two of the three days. Unfortunately now, it looks like I won't be coming at all. Too many other commitments and I'm still dealing with the aftermath of my car repairs. The oil pump was that was installed was defective, and luckily that's covered by the body shop. So I'm back to a car rental, and no definite date for the final completion. After the part is replaced, they will have to road test and then determine if there still more damage that went undetected, which was the reason I brought it back and they discovered the defective pump.

Okay, RogueKnight, I will remove you from the attendee list. Best of luck to your car repairs.

Hopefully they don't find anything else. Then I can do my taxes and all the other things that the were supposed to get done instead of taking the car back and forth to the auto body shop.

Okay gang, see you all this coming weekend!

Just to reiterate our needs:

FRIDAY: I will be there for setup, and can stay until 1pm. I will need someone to man the table after that, until closing.

SATURDAY: I will be there all day, in costume (I will be in a DER shirt Friday and Sunday). I will man the table most of time on Saturday, however, I will need some assistance / someone to take over for intervals.

SUNDAY: I will be there from opening until 1pm. I will need someone to man the table from 1pm until closing. Royal Guard, who will be bouncing back and forth from our table and Saber Guild's table, will be closing the table down / returning the props and banner back to me.

LOL. Congrats once again, TDE-126! I sense that you will have a great time this weekend; I know I will.

The Coruscant Temple thanks you aplenty for helping your Jen'ari (me, at least for another month, LOL) at this convention and helping staff our table. It shall be a con long remembered.
