How to join The Dark Empire
Interested in possibly joining TDE?
Simply log onto our forums and introduce yourself in the "Roll Call" section! Your membership on the forums may need to be approved first before you can sign in. You must be at least 18 years of age to register on our forums. Minors aged 13-17 may join our forums, however, will require parental approval and assistance from a Council Member before forum registration can be completed.
For assistance, contact us via email TDEcostumeclub@aol.com
To obtain Full Membership within the organization, you must at be least eighteen years of age and have an approved costume that meets our costuming standards. See our Charter for information on becoming an Official Member of TDE.
If you are ready to submit a costume for full membership, you can enter The Dark Trials

Hey Gang,
I just submitted a table application for the show this year! I'm still waiting to hear back from them. If we are able to get a table, who would be interesting in helping man the table? I'm not sure yet on how many passes we would get, if we do get any at all. As of right now, there is no prices up for tickets. Once they do become available I will post the prices. The hours for the show is as follows:
Friday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Extended program hours on
Fri. & Sat. after 7:00 PM
Hopefully we can get a table this year! Keep checking back for more info!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to get time off from work for it, but even if I can't, I should be able to stay each day until 2pm. Might be able to help out with table duty during that time.

Sounds good. More than likely I will be there in the late morning/early afternoon depending on what time I get off work! Hopefully if we get a table we can have a great weekend!

Forum Members as well as official members are always welcome to help at any event that has a table! The more members or help we have the better! The only thing is that if you have a costume, it must be approved in order to represent TDE, if you wish to dress out. If not, any type of star wars shirt or TDE shirt is welcome.

I'm still waiting to hear back as well to see if we are able to get a table or not this year. Hopefully we are able it. If not i'm with you on waiting to see when tickets go on sale.

Anino'j, if you haven't already, you need to go to this link and fill out the exhibitor application and send it in. Different conventions have different ways of operating, and they may not reply to an email right away. These are the same people that do SDCC, so that is especially the case here.

I filled out this application when I sent in the form. I have sent it via email and I'm waiting for them to respond back. Since SDCC stuff went on this weekend, I didn't expect to get a response back until probably this week.

ill of course be available most of the early days i may have to bail out 230 ish for work on one or more days - keep that in mind but you know im down for helping. hopefully ill have a new prop to unvail.

I have a ticket for Sunday. Trying a few angles for a Saturday badge (volunteering with 501st).
Tough luck on a TDE table.
Darth Radix has been somewhat retired and I'm sort of working on a new sith for TDE.
So Saturday, I'll probably be around in my 501st Gunner, and Sunday, I'll be debuting a custom character, Road Rage. Think post-apocalyptic armor made of road signs.
