Way the event is connected to Star Wars: Blacksnake Roller Girls has invited us back this year for another Star Wars/Sci-Fi themed bout for their August double header game!

Will there be a place for troopers to change? Yes

Will there be a secure place for troopers to store their storage tubs while trooping the event? Yes

Will family/friends be allowed to attend the event? Yes

Are cameras allowed and can we take pictures at the event? Yes

Are weapons allowed on the costumes? Yes

Is there a special place to park at the event? Does parking cost? Parking is available in the covered parking structure across the street or on the street anywhere near the venue. Parking is FREE on weekends.

If appropriate, can we have a table with flyers and information about the 501st/70th Explorers? No

Are Rebel Legion/Jedi Assembly/FanForce costumed members requested too? Yes

How many costumed members are requested? 6+

Will lodging be provided by the local troopers for garrison members travelling a great distance? Holiday Inn is directly across the street from the venue and offers a discounted rate for roller derby patrons. I can get you the discounted rate, just contact me.

Additional information or comments: We do not have to buy a ticket. All volunteers/handlers/photographers receive free entry. Doors open at 5pm, so I would like everyone there by 4pm to get dressed. Carpooling will be arranged, please indicate if you are willing to carpool when you sign up.

We will be greeting customers coming into the venue, help take tickets, hand out programs, pose for pictures, and of course, enjoy the game.

Roller derby after party at the Buffalo Bar (just a short walk from the venue). No cover charge and $5 pitchers. Closes at 1pm. Free snacks and appetizers will be offered for all derby skaters/volunteers/costumers. I would not recommend wearing costumes to the bar as it's a smoking establishment. This was a LOT of fun last year!! Don't miss out! Smile
