RUUSAN TEMPLE HAS A NEW JEN'ARI - AS OF 28 JANUARY 2013

The TDE Council has granted the request of our Imperial Hand, who noted that the Ruusan Temple was in immediate need of a new leader. Darth Nocturnus TDE-034 has volunteered to assume the role of Jen'ari (Temple Master) for the Ruusan Temple. Congrats, Lord Nocturnus!

Lord Nocturnus has also voluntarily vacated the position of Imperial Hand, so that he may be able to focus more on the immediate needs of the Ruusan Temple region of The Dark Empire. (The Imperial Hand Apprentice has declined the option to succeed the Imperial Hand at this time, and has also stepped down).

This therefore creates two positions on the TDE Council that will be open for election in April; the Council is waiving our chartered right to fill those two positions immediately, so that our Official Membership may nominate and vote accordingly. Both Council positions, that of Anik'ari and Imperial Hand (see Article V of the Charter for the duties that are required of those postions, and the duties that are required of Council Members), will be open during our election period in April to full members that have been Official within TDE for at least one year, due to the high rank these positions carry within the club and the responsibilities they entail.

TDE is now operating on the minimum per our Charter, of three Council Members; we will continue as such until our Official Membership chooses and fills these two very important positions on our overall governing council.

Congrats, Darth Nocturnus, on your new role as Jen'ari of the Ruusan Temple! Your years of exemplary service as a Council Member will go a long way in the leadership of the Temple in which TDE has its roots.

Congrats my friend on the promotion.

Thank you to the TDE council for honoring my request and for allowing me to step down from the Imperial Hand position and into the Jen'ari (Temple Master) position in my home temple of Ruusan. I will fufill my duties here with the same passion that I gave while holding the Imperial Hand position. I shall miss being the Imp Hand and being a part of the Council, as I have performed the duties of the Hand for the last 2 1/2 years, but I am very excited about the great things to come from Ruusan and my tenure as its Temple Master. May the Force serve the potential acolytes well as they run for both Council positions in the upcoming April elections! Both the XO and Imp Hand positions require a great deal of responsibility and personal free time so potential acolytes would do well to look over the charter sections corresponding to each office and think over thier decision to run before they commit to the gauntlet. If potential Imperial Hand acolytes have any questions about the position feel free to ask me. I am open to answer questions, give advice and provide training.
