Denver Comic Con Mission report

Greatings fellow Sith from meditation chambers of The Korriban Temple! Here in follows my recent mission to Denver’s very first Comic Con!!!

This past weekend, June 15th-17th, was Denver Comic Con! And was the first year Comic Con has been in Colorado and from what I heard the turn out was amazing! Over 27, 000 people came over the three days! I was only able to attend the 16th and 17th and was put in the main hall by the ticket line.

Over the two days I had a lot of people come to the table asking about the group and takeing pictures! By the end of the weekend there were at least 8 people with costumes that said the were interested in joining TDE! And so far 2 have signed up on the forums!

But aside from the interested members, the fun of the con and of course hanging out with the other fan groups. The most memorable part of the convention was on Sunday, when I was dressed as Xhalooren (my Twi’lek force sencitive bounty hunter). A family came over to the table to check out the table, take pictures and of course look at my lightsabers. The younges of the three boys, probably only 4 or 5 and after his father took the picture gave me a giant hug and it was clear that it had made his day.

Truly one of the most memerable parts of the con!
