STRONGER than Cancer Young Hero 5k Run/Walk (a timed event) is family-friendly and great for all ages. A beautiful certified 5k course, filled with superheroes, goes through downtown Abacoa and ends at home plate in Roger Dean Stadium! Superheroes (live and standup) serve as homage to the brave young heroes fighting for their lives, as do beads (hope, strength, resilience and bravery) that athletes earn along the way.
The course starts at 7:30 am outside Roger Dean Stadium, (4751 Main Street, Jupiter, FL, 33458) goes through Abacoa and finishes at Home Plate inside the Stadium.
A 1-mile family friendly walk along part of the same course (same start) is also available. Kids will enjoy the Kidz Fun Zone with a giant water slide and various games. Inside the stadium, young cancer patients will run either the Young Hero 100 yard dash or the 10 yard Diaper Dash for our very littlest patients of 2 years or younger. 50 kids will be able to run the actual bases.

Compete in our contests: Best Fundraising Team, Best Team Name, Best Superhero Costume, and Best Pet Costume.

All proceeds to to Pediatric Oncology Support Team, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides counseling and financial support to local children with cancer and their families.

Safe changing area located inside stadium.

There is on-street parking as welll as parking garage.

The kids will love the weapons.
