Megacon 2013?

pretty much the subject is the question; are we gonna be there?

I missed last years but it's on my schedule to do in 2013. Whether there is an official presence might depend on the formation of a CFL spire.

i hope we get a Spire up, then. i've never been (CVI was actually my first con EVER), so i am definitely gonna check it out.

I believe Orlando had way more than needed for a spire. I know Lord Xanthus needs one more member to have Storm of the Spire official, but I'm not sure of his boundaries.

As stated, for now it's Central Florida south, I hope AT LEAST 3 spires are in place of SOTS alone, but let's chat about Megacon. Do we have any "Temple resources" for tables and the like? Any contacts? Should the Temple lead the charge?

I do not want to stomp on feet, so let's hear what, if anything can be done Temple level, failing that I am willing to grab the flag and run with it.

Thus comes 2 weeks after ConNooga. I would have to see as time gets closer, but the possiblity of us having a table representing TDE would be great. I would highly suggest the spire in and around jumping on this.

Roger that. I will get on it. Do we as a Temple have any resources or material for such a table?

I know I see part of my duties will be to work on getting some of that sorted on a Spire level.

There are TDE kits on the home page that you can print off, any spire info you come up with and props. Anything left over from ConNooga, ill bring it with me.

I will start assembling materials here for the Spire. Any Spire members wishing to contribute please contact me.

I am looking for table coverings, card holders, display items like digital picture frames, holocrons, lightsabers, as well as a lightsaber rack so that those manning the table can store their sabers in a way that allows them to be shown off.

Open format here. Those wanting to get involved please chime in. Future Spires will be given the items donated by their members for their own spire when the new ones form.

No need to not keep possession of your valued items though, just pics and commitments to bring the items to the event would be wanted. I will arrange to secure all the items involved in the display in some manner acceptable to the TDE charter.

since i'm the one who asked, i'm willing to help out in whatever way you need/want me to.

Sweet. I will be contacting them as soon as I know the correct protocol for doing so. I will post the results of that on the spire forums and organize things from there.

I will be at Mega. Will definitely have Nihilus with me and probably Vader.
