BEFORE WE PROCEED,
As TDE members, you are the most important aspect of all. So you are also self empowered, and in the end, you are also an intricate part of the command structure. That being acknowledged....

Although the existing "main command structure" of any Temple are heads of a Temple, and are the main players in organizing trooping events, keeping the Temple informed, etc... It does not "all" fall upon their shoulders. Each individual member within a Temple, is empowered to post in on any up coming events which they may be aware of, or to give an after event report complete with photos. It takes "ALL" of us to make this work. Everyone should feel free to step up when and where they can. In fact, it is encouraged. Again, it takes us all to make things happen. The only thing we ask, is to keep your Jen'ari informed of your plans before executing them... always.

Also, if any or all of your Temple Commanders are being negligent, then feel free to .... please .... and .... "gently" .... inform them in a PM. Sometimes life happens, and things are missed. If you deem it necessary, an informative letter to the Empires Council may be in order. Also, if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to inform your Temple Command within a PM.

TEMPLE COMMAND STRUCTURE... Duties and Responsibilities.

TO TEMPLE COMMAND, and if there is one, "SPECIFICALLY TO THE TEMPLE NES'ARI", HERE IS A LINK TO THE FULL MEMBERS LIST. PLEASE UTILIZE IT TO KEEP ABREAST OF ANY NEW MEMBERS NEEDING TO BE ADDED TO THE TEMPLE ROSTER:

a) THE TEMPLE CO or JEN'ARI
DEFINITION AND DESCRIPTION OF THE JEN'ARI /TEMPLE MASTER :::
* The Temple CO is called the Jen'ari. (Temple Master in the Sith language)

*A Jen'ari, or Temple Master, is an elected or appointed leader of a Temple within TDE. The Jen'ari is not a TDE Council position, but a position of leadership over a Temple region of The Dark Empire.

* The Jen'ari reports on Temple activity, or assigns a member to do so. They also represent his/her Temple directly to the TDE Council.

DUTIES OF THE JEN'ARI :::
a) KEEP THE ROSTER UPDATED.
Board Members are not listed within Rosters. However, check to make sure that, all Official Members get listed under the appropriate states within the Member Roster. If you have a Nes'ari, monitor your Officers and make sure that your Nes'ari is doing their job. One of those is listing new Official Members to the Roster.

b) KEEP THE ROSTER UPDATED. .... did we mention to Keep the Roster updated? Cool
Keep yourself appraised of forum members within your Temple who make Official status,
and update the Temple Roster accordingly. If you have a Nes'ari, make sure that they are performing their duties accordingly. You are the main head haunch.

c) KEEP UP WITH EVENT REPORTS.
Post campaign reports, or request campaign reports of any Temple member who attended a
campaign (trooping event). A Temple is vast and includes many states. The Temple command structure will not make all of the events, and in that case, someone who Trooped the event will need to post the event report.

d) KEEP THE TEMPLE INFORMED.
Keep your Temple informed about any upcoming events within your Temple area. A good
idea is to have a "TEMPLE CAMPAIGNS AND EVENTS" thread within your Temples forum.
Regularly update when necessary, and then refer to your Events and Campaigns thread, so that a separate thread can be posted about each upcoming event. Please refer to the "TEMPLE CAMPAIGNS AND EVENTS" thread to glean how this is done.

e) KEEP THE TEMPLE INFORMED. Did we say to keep your Temple informed? Cool
It is the responsibility of the Jen'ari ... (or a designated representative) to organize trooping events for your Temple. There is, of course, no minimum trooping requirement within The Dark Empire. For advice on how to coordinate events within a Temple region, see the “Events” section of the TDE forums found here:

Or consult with a TDE Council Member.

f) KEEP THE TEMPLE CLEAN.
Keep abreast of old outdated threads within your Temple's forum, so that they may be moved to the Holocron Archives. A good rule of thumb, is to check for old posts at the beginning of each month. If they are outdated and no longer pertinent, then remove them.

g) You are responsible for post content within your Temple. As a Temple Officer, if you see something out of line within someones post, alert the Imperial Hands or the Council and it will be dealt with.

h) Monitor your other Officers to ensure they know what their duties and responsibilities entail, and that they are carrying out those responsibilities in a timely manor.

i) Make sure that the council is informed of new Temple Officers, and those Temple Officers receive moderator status for your Temple, along with their titles on their profiles.

j) MOST IMPORTANTLY:: keep "excellent" channels of communication between you and other Temple Officers. Follow through, follow through, follow through.

* In the instance of where we have Temples with membership of 20 or more......
In Temples with a large membership count, a Jen'ari may appoint "or" run an election (this is at his or her discretion) for no more than two additional positions of office within the Temple. These extra elected offices are for the purpose of assisting in Temple duties. When this occurs, the following Temple Officers are instated.



THE TEMPLE XO or Co-JEN'ARI
DEFINITION AND DESCRIPTION OF THE CO-JEN'ARI /Co-Temple Master :::
* The Temple XO is called the Co-Jen'ari. (Temple Co-Master in the Sith language)

*A Co-Jen'ari, is (at the discretion of the Jen'ari) either an elected or appointed leader of a Temple within TDE. The Co-Jen'ari is not a TDE Council position, but a position of leadership over a Temple region within The Dark Empire. They have as their main duties, the responsibility of planning Temple events.

* The Co-Jen'ari reports on Temple activity, or assigns a member to do so.

DUTIES OF THE Co-JEN'ARI :::
a) ASSIST YOUR JEN'ARI with...

THE TEMPLE NES'ARI
DEFINITION AND DESCRIPTION OF THE NES'ARI /TEMPLE MEMBERSHIP OFFICER :::
* The Temple Membership Officer is called the Nes'ari. (Temple Master in the Sith language)

*A Nes'ari, is (at the discretion of the Jen'ari) either an elected or appointed leader of a Temple within TDE. The Nes'ari is not a TDE Council position, but a position of leadership over a Temple region within The Dark Empire. They have as their main duties, the responsibility of overseeing Temple membership.

* The Nes'ari is responsible for maintaining the Temple Roster, addressing Membership concerns, keeping the forums updated, and giving costuming advice. They may refer Temple members inquiries to the council and to the Empires Nes'ari when needed.

DUTIES OF THE NES'ARI :::
a) ASSIST YOUR JEN'ARI with:

Thank you milady. I'm glad to see our temple growing and I will open a Campaign and Events thread to help keep our temple "clean". As for the 2 officer positions, I have 2 to step up who serves the empire and their temple well. I will keep this open till Monday, July 16. If no one else steps up, then we have our newest officers. If we have more to step up, then an election will be held next week. Thank you for serving TDE and Yarvin 4.
